Grundfos CM5-4 1.5 HP Booster Pump Set with 100L Pressure Tank

The Grundfos CM5-4 1.5 HP booster pump set combines two horizontal multistage pumps in a 1 duty + 1 standby arrangement with a 100 L pressure tank. OPAR Online fabricates the complete assembly with stainless-steel suction and discharge manifolds, a galvanised iron base frame and a manual DOL starter panel.

One pump is assigned for normal duty and the second is available as standby. The operating sequence, pressure settings and electrical protection are confirmed before fabrication. The selected duty point must also be checked against the building’s required flow, total dynamic head and available electrical supply.

Stainless-steel manifold construction

The suction and discharge manifolds are fabricated in stainless steel. GI pipework is not used for the manifolds. The pumps and components are mounted on a galvanised iron base frame, giving the set a rigid platform for transport, positioning and final connection on site.

Controls and pressure tank

The standard arrangement uses a manual DOL starter panel and a high-quality LEO pressure switch. A Telemecanique pressure switch can be supplied when the project specification or operating pressure calls for it. The pressure tank will be CIMM, CRUWA, TANKLIFE, WATES or Global Water Solutions, depending on availability. The listed 100 L capacity will be maintained, and a particular tank brand or model can be quoted on request.
